Welcome to the Metro Club House!
Well, June has finally arrived – the month of our Annual Athletics Championships. So I can look forward to bringing you all the gossip on next Month’s Club House page – I bet you can’t wait! And all this thought of sporting endeavour has made me think that you, my virtual patrons, could do with having your minds stretched a little this month, sort of in sympathy with our athletes. My sister and I are hoping to go sailing in September. So keen has Jen become to fit in on board, that she’s forsaken her regular tipple of port and lemon at the virtual bar for copious amounts of rum. She’s also started chewing tobacco – a filthy habit! So in honour of our sailing trip, I’ve devised a little quiz, with the help of a ship mate called Shaun.
Right then me hearties, for your chance to win our treasure this month (£20 off a meal at Wagamama, for which thanks to them), have a go at unscrambling the following sets of letters to reveal a piratical word or phrase:
